What to Bring to Your First Meeting

To really get the most value from your visit, please bring the following:

— If you are a couple - bring your significant other.

— All investment & brokerage statements. Please bring actual statements rather than a summary. This is important because Neal likes to check to make sure the vesting on your accounts are appropriate. This includes IRA, 401(k), 403(b) and non-retirement account statements.

— Annuity statements.

— Long Term Care Insurance policies.

— Insurance Policies.

— Balance sheet including the value of your home, your mortgage amount and interest rate. List any credit card debts or home equity lines of credit or other debts.

— Information on your living trust.

— Income statement reflecting income including pensions and social security. This should also approximate what it costs you to live each month. Don't worry about having exact numbers.

— Your last 2 years of tax returns.

— Lots of questions!
